Worked at Christian Rovsing in Herlev from 1976 to 1978 as a computer operator at Burroughs B6700.
Started as a student and got a taste for the technical side of computers.
Besides the operator training, I gained insight into the work of operations. Acquired me skills in algol, fortran, cobol and basic.
Christian Rovsing A/S was established in 1963.
In the first years, the company provided consultancy and consultancy within EDB (Electronic Data Processing).
It developed strongly these first years, towards delivering complete computer systems ie. both of software and service.
In 1970, the company organized itself in an EDB and an Electronic-Division. At that time, there were 70 employees.
Cooperation with ESA (European Space Agents) began in a number of ESA programs.
It resulted in the following years, in a number of products for use in launchers (servo amplifiers), satellites (Power converters), and in the F-16 hunting program (Fire Control Computer) and for the French Airbus aircraft (Power converters).
The EDB division delivered computer service, both real-time and batch to several large customers, among other things. IRMA, FLS, GDC and many others.
In the mid-70s, the company developed its own computer CR80.
